Siuslaw Bank

Company Profile

Siuslaw is a community bank with 10 offices, all in Lane County. We provide banking services, such as deposit, cash management, mortgages and loans, to small and midmarket businesses, service professionals, commercial property owners, and residents throughout Lane County.  We are proud of our partnership with the Allpoint ATM Network, where our customers can use over 53,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide and in Mexico, Europe & Australia.

History of Siuslaw

Siuslaw Bank was originally chartered for the single purpose of fulfilling the need for banking services in the small rural town of Mapleton, Oregon, located in Western Lane County.  As the new bank gained a reputation for its services and community commitment, a petition signed by 150 business people from Florence convinced shareholders to move the bank's head office to Florence in 1968.

Siuslaw expanded into the Willamette Valley by opening branches, first in the community of Pleasant Hill in 1973 and then later in Cottage Grove in 1975.  A private banking office was opened in Eugene in 1988, followed by the acquisition of a savings and loan branch at Oakridge in 1988 and the acquisition of the Community Bank of Creswell in 1989.

In 2002, bank offices were opened on Main Street in Springfield and in the Valley River Village complex in Eugene. Our 10th branch is located in Veneta.  This office opened in September 2004 and is a convenient stop to visit between Eugene, Mapleton and Florence.
